I'd do exactly as she did.......
Just cuz someone lost it doesn't mean they WANTED to lose it, or that someone else has the right to claim it. |

Hard question to answer.
I honestly don't know what I'd do

I'd turn it in... hope for a reward.... but the cost of my conscience would be too much for me to just take it...

First, I'd figure out who it belonged to.
If it was a large corporation, I'd keep it because that is ok. If it were a private individual, I'd justify it until it seems ok, then I'd keep it. I'd post on message boards that I'd do / I did the right thing. I always do the right thing, online. |

It probably belongs to the bank if its in a bag and for that sum of money, so being that my tax dollars are keeping them afloat anyway, i'll be tempted to take a few hundred dollars but yeah i would turn it in and pray for a reward!

I'd take it home and open up a security lock box the next day and wait and see if there was anything about it in the news, or a reward of sorts. If it turned out to be granny's life savings then i'd consider returning it. If it was drug money or something similar i'd feel no regret keeping it.
more than likely i'd never read the paper though, and be headed on a nice vacation. I'd call it my personal stimulus package. |

An ATM bag left there, that didnt belong to a poor person?
I'd have some 'pocket change' for a long time. No big purchases, just spending money. A purse or wallet full of money? Or money that belonged to a person. I'd return it in a second. |
