good stuff

got home about 5:45 local time


1381mi in 2 days
17 hrs in the saddle the fist day cuz of getting lost
riding in the rain for hours sucks
can't feel my right thumb
bike is AWESOME
got lost in East TENN, but it was great riding
40N into tenn is crazy 3 lane frwy, winding thru the mt. and people going 60-70mph thru these huge sweepers...........WOW
tail of the dragon was cool
but the skyway was bettter IMO

40-45mpg, but w/ only a ~4 gal tank, stopped alot.

Yeah, your bike is more suited to the Skyway. The little 600s and motards like the gap better.

i think motard would be the only way togo on the dargon

and to add, only riding i've been doing lately is straight line commuting, so the dragon was a lil intimidating to say the least. let alone add in elevation changes which we don't have down here lol

Glad you made it home safe and sound!

Thanks for the updates...after the week I've had, I sweat when I hadn't heard from you.

But like I said...had I NOT had that week I would have lead you thru the gap, then headed home afterwards. But glad you made it thru depite the hiccup.

though getting lost was kinda fun, it did add about 3-4hrs to my first day lol
