Waiting for wheels
Well, I am waiting for my new wheels to be mounted and balanced at the harley dealer. In the meantime I snapped a few pictures of my heritage, sans wheels. It looks more like a deluxe, but hey what can you do?

I got fat spokes (52) and some new floating rotors because my old ones were see through! I needed new rubber as well so it was time to just tug it all apart. All the stuff is at my local dealer to be mounted and balanced. I had to take it apart because I needed the pulley from the current rear wheel.

I want after pictures!
I think it's kind of cool to see a bike sans wheels/plastic/etc. Kind of see just how much (or little) there really is to the main section of it. |

Believe me I want to see the after shots.
The service manager told me he would try and be done with mounting them today. The must be busy if they can't get a set of tires mounted and balanced that quickly. It shouldn't take much to them back on if the stock wheel spacers can be used--which the wheel company told me the hubs were stock space so it should be OK. I'll find out, but in the mean team I can polish all the chrome I couldn't reach before.
