Default Great customer service?

My Buell dealer has it.

The rocker box on my rear cylinder has started to leak. I called them up to find out how much it would cost. I was trying to decide if I was going to do it myself or have them do it.

Service manager checks into it and comes back with, "Your warranty was up April 1st, we'll do up the work order now and still cover ya.."

But, that wasn't right.. I bought my bike in November 07, and it's a two year warranty. Turns out, they only registered it in April since they assume we won't ride in the cold months.

So, not only that they're going to change out my belt on warranty as well. I was thinking it was going to cost me about $400, not counting a new belt. And it's going to be FREE with the belt..

I like those kinds of shops.

No amount of advertising will get me to come back but do right by me once and you will have a repeat customer.

Bass Pro Shops in Kodak, TN doesn't have it. Called and asked if they had some fly fishing waders and the guy yelled at me they don't carry that shit.

Go into the store two days later, guess what, they carry that shit.

I find that at any big box store.

My wife wonders why I refuse to call places like that to see if they carry something... this is why.
