If you want to save weight, you can go lithium. But they have issues, particularly with cold starts. Are the Odyssey batteries much heavier than regular lead batts? I would imagine so.

A bit heavier.

For my bike, 5.9 lbs., vs. 5.4 lbs. for the stock Yuasa unit.
