I think that what you perceive to be chatter, is chatter. If you're doing your own suspension, it doesn't really matter what you call a particular symptom. It shimmies, it shakes, it's wiggly, it's bumpy, whatever. As long as you know what it means to you, you're good. If you have to explain to someone else, that's a different matter. I was talking with a 125GP novice once (club racer) and he said the front end felt "scrunchy". I asked him what he meant. "It kinda scrunches down going in to turns on the brakes". Gotcha. ![]() JC
