That. You lay the material on your structure and paint it with resin. How good of a finished product will be up to you. You can sand it and paint it.

That's badass for sure...but how would I create a 3' saucer out of it? I still need something to mold it into.

Find a cable spool, whack one of the "wheels" off it, sand it to shape, then lay your material over it as a form.
