Yea I had the 661 (616 ha what a doofus I am) and it definitely got hot in the dirt but under perforated leathers on a street bike, it might be okay.

I wear this year round under all my jackets. -20f to 120F outside. Doesnt matter. It fits tight and I feel like the armor will stay in place better if I were to roll/slide during a wreck better than just the jackets armor. Even a tight fitting jacket, the armor is "loose" feeling.

I do recommend that if it has velco parts, see if it's a "micro" felt or "coarse" felt. If it's micro feeling then get some coarse felt sewn over it because it just wears out and the "male" part of the velcro on the straps wont have anything to bite into. I have to stretch mine tight to get some good felt for good bite.


In the pics I forgot to pull up the front past the main big velcro strap. There are velcro patches that keep the upper part attached to that big strap.
