Agreed but for me I cant see it in any other light, sure its great to rip it up on the back roads or the track, or do the poser thing at bike nights but to just be out on a good road and take everything in is like nothing else.

I always call the miles around town as useless/misc miles. I always just want to be doing the next trip.

Riding is riding to me.

I think that is largely depending on what type of riding you have around your living space. I have all city around here, so it can just suck at times.

My commute to the ER and th ebronx site are all shitty NYC roads, but going ot this westchester site is good, gets me north of the city and has some better scenery on the way up, plus good twisties are about 20 min north of here so some days I will head north for a bit to play, then ride home.

Yeah that makes the little city riding worth it. I get that.
My work is under 5 mins from home. Closer than even Marko is to his work. Heck it's same zip code for me. So I don't ride to work either. Further, I have a work truck. Then being on call 24/7 also screws me up for riding. It's all bad this year for riding... well besides my NE trip in may and my upcoming BRP trip. |

If you like desolate roads and brothels, eastern and central Nevada is the place to be.
