$0.00 for me.... I have a tire changer and balancer, so I mount and balance all my own tires. Takes a lil longer, but I can do it at my leisure... works great!

Speaking of Dyna beads...I have some pretty good reasons why I won't use Dyna beads and don't recommend their product for sport bike applications. The abrupt speed changes can cause the beads to collect in one area causing severe imbalance during heavy breaking and acceleration. Imagine coming into a corner hot and dealing with a front tire that is an ounce out of balance... Also,as some of us have a penchant for doing long, high speed wheelies, which causes the front tire to stop spinning allowing all of the beads to "fall" to the bottom. Which would make the tire very unbalanced when you drop the front tire at 120 mph!!! Sounds like a tank slapper to me! |

I think it's about $30-$40 for both. I keep paying it as long as they keep doing the good job they are. Too many places I've been can't balance worth a shit.

Free. A local shop usually hooks certain people up. I'm one of 'em. In regards to mounting/dismounting tires.
