When trying to determine motivation for action, use the prosecutor's maxim: Follow the money. The 'coin' in this case may be other than the US Dollar, but identifiable none the less...

alot of mods (not leon, who seems like he could give a shit less) seem to like the power they hold, they'll defend VS and turn against those who made the forum what it is. just so they can be the big fish when the little pond of newbies come knocking

I'm quite surprised at her myself, thought she was a bit more of realist than that...

The humorous part of all of this... how many other forums are y'all on? I mean, there are some you post on, some you lurk, and some you sometimes frequent. I understand that. But, I'm on about 47 forums... OK, so that's a ridiculous number I am truly on 28 forums on a regular basis.
The unique thing - not one of them is owned by VS, yet. Four have been taken over - and moved. And, it was a bitch to get hold of people after a vortex of doom like that suck the life out of the knowledge base. THAT was the reason for the panic move. It's like a death in the family. Immediately following the death it's BUSY. There are plans to make, music to choose, family in town. Friends of friends come around to talk about how much it sucks, and how things used to be. But, after everyone goes back to their lives... it gets quiet. THAT is when people will fall off the forums and be missed. I didn't want that to happen. I'm now waiting for the grieving to come to a bit of a close.

As long as they don't fuck with me, I'm ok on CF too.
I just seem to be posting here way more
