what the hell - that almost gets me as annoyed as people who protest at soldiers' funerals.

Was the guy wrong for yelling at her in her car? Probably. Should the road have been blocked off? Maybe. But a great deal of the person's complaints were stuff that happened while she was sitting comfortably in her car while a soldier was being laid to rest. Oh, and "As usual?" Erm, yeah. That's why you get responses like "bite me" and "go fuck yourself with a dirty dildo" But what do I know?

I'm not seeing what she was complaining about while sitting...and she already stated she is sad about the death, that she respects the military and respects his death. Seems pretty rational to me...

Sheriff is a public official paid with tax payer dollars. The women, despite sounding like an idiot had a valid complaint. I'm pretty immune to the emotional appeal nonsense. I'm more interested in the facts. Vietnam..... Soldier.... Relatives ...family....blah blah lost someone ....blah blah blah Irrelevant... The only thing professional in the Sheriffs response was last line: "Per your request, I will forward your complaint to the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for his review. " As for the women, the only thing worth reading is: "Men that were escorting the procession proceeded to stop in front of me in the right lane on Gravois. I had to stop in the middle of an intersection. They proceeded to scream and yell at me..... One of them climbed off his motorcycle and came over to me and stuck his head in my car continuing to scream at me." Though her delivery is painful to read, she has a valid complaint and she is entitled to to pursue the matter. Had the body in the box been that of a gang banger would this thread had gone differently? Would we be so quick to dismiss the behavior of the motorcyclist sticking his head in a woman's car to yell at her had he been the uncle of an Accountant who jumped out off a bridge because of the market crash? I am not impressed with the Sheriffs response. |

and you believe, that they, without provocation, got off their bikes, stuck their head in her car and yelled at her?
