I do enjoy riding here in the MD/VA/WVA triangle. Great roads. I'll put Skyline Drive up with anything in the Smokies.
Can't argue with the Cali people though. The weather out there is great. |

I think the Hill Country here has it all going on. Hills, twists of every caliber, light car traffic in most places, and you can ride essentially all year. Somedays in July and August it might not be suggested that you ride, but it's still doable.

PA has some good roads. But the road surface isn't great in some places. Our winters wreck these roads.

Ive never been to east TN or West NC, but of all the places I've been Cali has the best roads if you go out of the city.
