Honestly, Blockbuster held the title for YEARS as the top dog in movies and then modern technology came along and they thought they could keep on keepin on and now there going bankrupt and you dont see a blockbuster in any town anywhere...There version of Redbox sucks ass I had on at my Job, it broke every other day and we took it out. With that being said, Netflix was top dog in online streaming...but there will be new players in the game soon who can offer if not the same...More and if they dont act now there gonna end up just like blockbuster.

Again, I agree.
Netflix isnt doing much "Adapting" IMO...There arent many movies i actually want to stream when I browse there Queue, Licensing is the reason behind that.

I think I've watched just about everything I want that is available to me (stream only).
But the wife just decided she wanted to watch all the seasons of Charmed that she missed, so we keep it for now.

They want to get out of the disc business, thats why they dont mind losing customers that dont want to pay extra. $8 a month for streaming only is still a good deal.

only problem is their streaming selection is shrinking cause they don't want to spend the coin to get the licensing.

But like Corey said, companies like STARZ see how many people watch their content on Netflix and want a bigger piece of the pie. I bet they think they can make their own streaming service and keep all the profits, no way they go to Amazon or Hulu. A top network like HBO knows their content is valuable and wont sell it to anybody. I think the reason STARZ got into this deal was because they were at the bottom of the barrel and didnt have anything to lose.
