I would give it back. I'd hope like hell there was a reward and then kick myself in the butt thinking of all the things I could have done with the money. It would more than pay off my bills and help my family with some of there bills. Damn my conscious

So if it was a wedding ring you guys found, would you take it to a pawn shop and sell it? After all, someone would have to be an idiot to lose something like that, right? They deserve to lose it, right? Just curious about some of the logic being displayed here.

when a bag filled with 100k cash becomes as small and easy to loose as a wedding ring, is when you can compare the two

So essentially you're saying that just because something like a bag of money is large and seemingly hard to lose, the person who lost it deserved to lose it, making it OK for you to keep it.

Fake tan? Not much need for that down here. That's for Midwesterners and Canadians.

"$120,000 That Was Found At ATM Doesn't Belong To Bank Posted: 4:09 pm MDT May 4, 2009Updated: 5:01 pm MDT May 4, 2009 EL PASO, Texas -- Officials at an El Paso bank said $120,000 found at an ATM doesn't belong to the bank. Letty Armendariz, an east El Paso resident, found the money outside an ATM at the GECU on Saul Kleinfeld Drive and Montwood Drive. She immediately called police and turned the money over. After an investigation, bank officials said the money didn't come from the bank. Police said if the owner of the money doesn't come forward in 30 days the money goes back to Armendariz." |
