Point, set, match! Exactly. It's funny how many cat people try to convince you that their cat is just like a dog. How wonderful their cat is because it does things that dogs do. "My cat fetches", "My cat greets me at the door", "My cat watches tv with me", etc. Good one Tmall!!!!

I never thought about it like that! My first 'real' pet was a cat named Cinnamon. He acted like a dog and I've said that so many times over the years. He would even chase dogs out of our yard.

I have a little white female cat that weighs about 7lbs. She is an ambush attacker. She hides under the sofa and when the dog walks by, she pops out, hisses, slaps the dog around a few times, then runs back under the couch real fast. The dog is sitting there going what the fuck just happened. It's the funniest thing ever.

I adore my dog, but he's a lot more money, time and energy to look after than a cat. I don't have to take 2 hours a day to walk a cat. I don't have to have 2 big, orthopedic beds and 4 different vacuum cleaners for a cat. I wouldn't have had to buy a bigger vehicle to fit a dog and a baby. I love cats for a lot of reasons why they aren't like dogs... But I digress.... Hard to choose. They both have admirable qualities as far as I am concerned. |
