Default (co-worker) So who rides the Vespa?

The new machinist Karl pointed out to the parking lot and asked "Who rides the Vespa?" ( it's actually a Yahama Zuma )

I said it's the truck driver Gary's scooter.

Karl: No F***ing way HTF does it haul his fat ass around? ( Gary weighs an easy 270 lbs, I feel sorry for his 50cc scooter )

I've been laughing all day thinking about this.

I'll see what I can do. If I'm lucky, I can get his " two feet sticking out" while stopping technique.

If a guy around here is riding a scooter, there's a high possibility he's lost his license because of a DUI.

Here, if you get a dui, you cant drive any motorized vehicle, period. ATV, dirtbike, scooter or otherwise.

I think what Captain Morgan was inferring is that the folks that lost their driver's license try to slip under the radar by riding scooters.

It's illegal here too to drive/ride any motor powered vehicle on the road without a license.

There's a dude around here that rides a lawn mower around for that reason...

It's not illegal here to operate a scooter without a license. The only requirement for riding a scooter is that you have to be at least 14. No license required. Which is why all the guys with dui's here ride scooters or mopeds.
