That's a buddy of mine. He spent a week in the hospital, but he's home now and slowly gettin' better.
Lucky to be alive, that's for sure. It was a freak thing. He had his gear on, was doing everything right by all accounts, just got caught up in the mix.

I like how the news works. The only thing mentioned in the article is a motorcycle was involved. Of course people are gonna think the moto caused the wreck.
