I would check the law, in some states just having it painted on the pavement isn't legal. They must have a sign as well.

Just for shits and giggles, I'll play devil's advocate. Many people who appear to be outwardly obese are so because of another underlying condition, that makes it difficult to shed weight. Arthritis, diabetes, and many other conditions tend to make it difficult to stay physically active (though with diabetes it's frequently a chicken and the egg sort of thing).
People who can't get around well on their own fall into the trap of using prepared foods, which are rich in fat. A few extra callories add up and weight isn't shed because of inactivity. Now if you want to get into the handicapped placcard thing, we have a bit of an issue with them here, in Ontario, Canada. They are routinely granted to people over 100, because of the assumption that they can no longer get around on their own. A couple of years back it was found, via census, that there were a couple of hundred more plates issued to people over 100 than there are people of that age in the whole Province. Figure that one out. |

Sometimes I park in the fat people spaces, while fat people stare and make fat people faces.

I usually don't park my bike in spaces.....I find somewhere else.
I cannot get over how 'obese' North America is though. Shocking! |
