I've never looked into the matter, but I tend to think the health problems people are contributing to vaccines are like ADD, its an excuse for their to be something wrong with their child or for its behavior.

Not always the case I know, but how frequent were things like ADD and autism when you were a child (and we were all vaccinated)?
I have to wonder how many times a child is diagnosed as 'mildly autistic' when he or she is just an introvert. ADD, ADHD, and autism seem to be grossly over diagnosed and the 'obvious' cure is drugs.

Afooking men, a few years back add/adhd was the hip thing to have and they were giving rittalin out like it was candy. Now autism is moving to the forefront, granted severe autism is a problem but most of these mild cases appear to be manageable.

The peanut allergy thing is a bit different. It's something that is clearly demonstrable, based on a physical reaction. ADD/ADHD and autism aren't something that they can do physical tests or genetic screening for, as far as I know. Diagnosis is based on opinion.

Asthma rates are also up. I guess were just raising a generation of weak-ass kids.

Here I thought Jenny McCarthy had joined Ice-T's band.

It's actually pretty normal if you follow genetic trends. These things will either peak out or disappear over the long run (were talking a LONG time here) When I say disappear I don't mean vanish, just not expressed by people.

20 years ago peanut oil wasn't used in everything under the sun.

The bigger problem than the vaccines is uber processed foods that don't contain a single natural product. Our bodies were meant to eat pretty fresh cooked meat and vegitables, not High fructose corn syrup, maltodextarin, citric acid, sodium citrate, natural FLAVORS, modified corn starch, and potasium sorbate which is used as a perservative (taken from the side of the box of food I am eating while I type this). Feed that stuff to an pregnant lady, add in some pestacides and all the other crap we pump into ourselfs and yeh we are gonna have soem wierd reactions to stuff.

Believe it or not vaccines are more natural than most of the food you eat. All a vaccine is is a natural immunity caused by a forcefed illness.

But, she's (moderately) famous, and everyone knows that fame magically imparts knowledge that us normal people can't ever hope to obtain. Just ask Oprah.

Whatever. My kid was vaccinated, and will continue to be, as well as my future children. I'd rather have a live kid with a disability than a kid dead from an easily preventable disease.
