My GMC PU has 258,000 on it and still has the original water pump, hoses, alt etc.. It has been a great truck. Clutch, fuel pump, starter, ign mod & coil is all I've replaced so far, other than normal wear parts.

My first car was a GM (1990 Pontiac Grand Prix, 5 speed 3.1).
I put 210,000 miles on it (plus the 10k that was on it when I got it) over the course of 3 years and only put brakes and tires on it (and changed the plugs every 50,000 just because I wanted to). I'd probably still have it it someone hadn't hit me and totaled it. It's more GM's management that I make fun of, not necessarily their actual product (at least talking about those made 10-15 or so years ago or more)
