On the ignition kill... you can also just do a start inhibit by tapping via a safety switch (kickstand or clutch) or tap between the standard switch wire to the starter (which is what I did on my scorpio). These of coarse may not give you a anti-hijack it will just stop them from starting it...
But think outside the box when considering where to tap into. If your kick stand switch keeps you from starting it, and kills the bike when in gear. Then it would do exactly what you want. |

Nice. I'll definitily look into that.
I just moved into an apartment and need a way to secure my bike. Now I park on the 3rd floor of a parking garage with 3 nicer bikes you need to pass by to get to it. But with an alarm I can hear it and by the time they circle the garage 3 times they have to pass directly below my balcony and wait for the gate to open while I bear my 30-06 on them from only 40 yards away. I still want to get a good bike chain/cable lock.
