Hey yeah, and you could try shopping for a man ride too!! J/K. Any coupe, any coupe is entertaining as long as you get the standard transmission.

I've wanted one for a long time. I think fall 2011 is going to be my target. The new model fever will have worn off the Camaro and the Stang will have a year under it's 5.0 development. I'll haggle the best deal and go for it. It's way past time to park the 83 Firebird.

Yea I'm ready for a sportier car myself. A new body style Mustang can be had for well under 10k these days.

2011 will be the first year for the 5.0 in the Mustang. The same engine will also be in the F-150's though, so you have that going for ya.

2011 model year every engine in Fords truck lineup is all new.

so when are they gonna ditch the retro and go with a clean sheet design? Something akin to a new foxbody (tiny, light, clean sheet) might loosen up my wallet. Gettin tired of waiting for detroit to stop building boats

Don't know, I'm not a Ford engineer or designer, I just follow them!

Dave you could always buy the full sized boat and strip it down ala SCCA. Pull out that unusable rear seat, lighten up all those interior finish items with lite weight materials, plexi for the glass, ditch the radio, speakers, window motors, insultaion maybe some fiberglass body panels...Reduces resale by a ton but I know you can trim it down to 2500 lbs.

The Mustang and the Challenger both have a factory proddy racing version for sale but I am not sure if it is streetable...
