Well I hope not!

I agree about women changing as they age and not putting up with stupidness from men. Self esteem does increase for many women too.

Theres nothing wrong with being strong and well, you just need a guy whos strong enough, and mature enough to handle your nature and love it!! They are hard to find, and sometimes a pain in the rear, but worth it!

G-seriously, that is the sweetest, awesomest post ever. Archren is lucky to have a guy like you! Congrats!
Nope never met her, have exchanged a few messages, but she has ink. Kell is a magnificent person, I will admit but unfortunately she has two strikes, 1) ink, 2) she is not even on the same effin continent

Oh and I will not be an asshole, I am not an asshole nor do I want to be. If I have the problem of being alone forever for being myself so be it. But my basic person will not change just to find a woman... Long term that would never work.

Honesty I have... unfortuantly my timing of honesty never seems to be good..

I can definitely sympathize with the original post. Seems like the selection in my area is extremely slim to nil. I have a couple female friends from work, but even their friends and sisters are married. So that sucks. One chick at work would be fun, but she's divorced and her new boy toy has a kid Not going there.

Not like my criteria are very difficult- female, generally healthy, non-smoker. Oh yeah, and doesn't get scared and wimp out! Girl's got to be able to handle some risk and adversity.

My brother and his long-term girlfriend were up over the holidays. Girl was terrified the entire time she was on the slope (snowboarding). She'd get scared, drop her edge and fall because she froze up. Dicked up getting off the lift, and bashed her tailbone once and quit- walked all the way down. No way I could deal with that.

There are things I don't want to deal with, but could work on- I hate it when people drink till they get sick when they should know better. I usually DD, so I'd love to have somebody I can TRUST to drive my ass if I drink for a change.

Being single isn't easy. I'm not in your same boat but it's similar.

I think that I'm solid and I think that I deserve someone who's solid as well. Being single in my early 30's isn't easy. I too would prefer someone who didn't have kids or someone who hadn't been divorced already.

I've got other picky little things that I don't like but I'm more flexible about (smoking, etc.).

I think I'm the female version of a lot of you males out there.

Unfortunately for me a lot of guys get intimidated. But the thing is....I don't want a guy who's intimidated by a strong woman.

I want someone who loves me for who I am and not only wants but appreciates a strong woman. I'm smart and not afraid to admit it (but not egotistical about it either. ). I can hold my own, have my own bike, like to drive my car, etc. A lot of guys don't like that. But I'd rather be alone for the rest of my life than have to change fundamentally who I am just to fit someone else's mode of the perfect woman.

Someone will be lucky to have me. And I deserve someone who will appreciate that. I'll know it if/when he comes along.
I need to make a road trip to Canada! Our bikes would look good in the garage together

I agree.

I know what I want (more or less) in life, and have figured out some of what I have to do to get there.
I don't need a playboy model (tho it would be nice)
I don't need a milionare (again, helpful but not necessary)
I need someone that will let me do what I want to do, and understand (somewhat) where I am coming from.
I understand that women have ideas/plans/etc too, and I am all for helping achieve those goals, provided they are on a similar path as my own.

If a woman comes along and fits into those plans and can help me achieve them, good. If she will be a hinderance to those plans, she's gone.

So far, comonboys seems to be a very good addition to helping me achieve my plans.

The Pie Man is in international hiding. I don't know where he's gone but he sure as hell hasn't shown his face to me in a long time!

Oh and FYI....I'm back on the same continent (back in Canada now)....but alas I do have ink. Sigh!
