I just read the money thing from awhile back.

I have multiple checking and savings accounts, electronic pay slips only available while I am at work, and electronic deposits. Only I know how much I make, how much of that goes into retirement, and how much of that gets deposited into the main checking/savings account and that is the way it's going to stay.

Probably. I'm gonna warn you, though, cause I like ya. She does come with a catch...and he's about 7 years old. She also comes with a full UHaul full of crap.

It took a lot of work on my part to get where I am at and make the money I do to provide the kind of living I want and I like having control of my fiscal responsibility so I do not place all my eggs in one basket. She is the same way right now though. We have seperate accounts and plan on keeping it that way after the marriage for the most part. I do not control her spending and she doesn't control mine. We both keep in check what we buy by using our own funds, but I take on more than my share of the bills considering I have a bigger salary and she doesn't live in the house yet. It will probably all change once we start having kids though. For now, it works for us. We will have to adapt once it becomes necessary.

Fair enough (and makes perfect sense). And since she's on the same page, too, it's a non-issue.
