Well I hear ya. And I'm the same way. Now with my ccw, my glock is always near me. I would never go for the shotgun now unless there was serious trouble and wanted that type of weapon. My glock is next to my pillow on the night stand...

Who says there isn't already a chambered round in the shotty?

but I don't rock safetys just for that reason. All safeties are off.

My gun doesn't have an external safety. Pull trigger...bang....dont pull trigger....no bang. Pretty simple

The safety on my pistol is pretty simple too; half-cocked or because it takes 15 minutes to load.
