All of it's gross to drink straight, but instead of dropping tons of money on extra protein powder, I've stocked up on lactose free milk and sugarfree chocolate syrup.

I dont mind drinking them. They arent good, but I can stomach it.

Are you lactose intolerant? What happens if you drink regular milk? I've never had a problem with drinking a half-gallon a day. Maybe a couple more farts but that's about it.

Yes, I'll shit my brains out with the real deal. Cheese and other dairy don't phase me a bit though.

But I drink this... Slightly "better" in the ways I need than regular milk.

The bread I bought was hard to eat this morning. It wasn't bad just really different from what I'm used to. Breakfast did me till about 11 am and then I was starving. But I think my energy levels were pretty good for not getting much sleep. I'm going to keep trying that one to see how it works. I also need to pound back the water more then ever before. Some of the things we do in that gear just has the sap running right out of you.

James, if you ate breakfast at 7, you should be drained by 11.

Try a couple of granola bars between breakfast and lunch, when you start to burn out. And more water!

I finished eating just before 11. I forgot my lunch home. Today we didn't get many breaks that were long enough for a snack. I would need 10 minutes for that so i could make sure I was back in class or ready to suit up in time. 5 minutes is only long enough for a drink. If we are late coming back your fucked. Three lates and your out and the class will be doing a push up for every second your late.

One guy was 2 minutes late. We did half of those push ups in gear. I will take hunger over that.

But you are right. I do need something there to snack on any chance I get.

You need to learn to eat faster, I can eat a couple of granola bars and and a shot of water in less than a minute. Carry them with you. You dont need to enjoy it, just gotta get the carbs in your stomach.
