Dat shit would never fly here in michigan. I don't care. Even with your amount of snow...

NO WAY it would still be on the roads!

Yeah right. Every municipality around here is totally jacked up. Everyone says they have blown their snow budget. There are driving lanes in Harrisburg with massive snow piles in them. Traffice backs up. Took me an extra 10 minutes to get home...which doubled my commute time.


Another 2+ feet possible starting Monday.

its sad out here, in LI where I live taxes are thru the roof, and in NYC taxes are much lower but NYC has done a much better job of snow clean up the last 2 storms so go figure.

Roads are prety good out this way now so everything is easily passable. did find some black ice on an offramp this morning. if I wasnt awake before then I def was after LOL

Damn thats nuts, in th epast NYC used to pick up all the snow and take it somewhere and just melt it. For a while they just dumped it in the ocean but that stopped becaus eof all the roadsalt and crap mixed in it.

I've seen even worse pictures from that year in Newfoundland, but couldn't find them today.

During our record 1999 blizzard the City of Toronto borrowed some in-situ snow melting equipment. Rather than just plow, they also melted the snow as they passed.

From real meteorologists, not the hacks on TV we have around Hbg. We're still, what, 5 days out...so alot could change but thats what I'm hearing right now.
