That is very true. We as mods don't do a whole lot of moderation so every time we do moderate, it gets high visibility.

If I moderated like other boards do, I would have to ban myself.

I definitely think there's overmoderation here. Not compared to other forums necessarily, but it'd be nice to be able to freely debate, especially religious topics, without constant fear of it being shut down. It still feels like public school to me, and I have a problem with that.

That said, I know way too many people here IRL and have been a part of this community (the CF refugee half) for waaaaaaay too long to go somewhere else. And I'm not even saying there's a better alternative, because this is probably the best MC forum on the net. Still, too much parenting.

I understand that blatant flaming should be moderated....outside of that....nah.
