I don't know what kind of deals they are willing to swing on those but MSRP on their 250 is more than the baby Ninja and I would think the Ninja would be worth more when it is time to sell due to the Kawasaki name. Some of the lesser known Chinese and Korean brands also have weak parts support.

Supposedly, parts support is good and the warranty is 2-3 times as long. Not to mention their bike is a v-twin, has adjustable rearsets, sport bike clip ons, perimeter frame, etc.

Oh and they'll let a 2009 go for $4,000 OTD.

Are you talking about dropping it in the driveway or wrecking it on the street? I've had bikes most of my life, mostly dirt bikes and I NEVER dropped any of them in the driveway. Why do people automatically assume you are going to let your bike fall over in the driveway?

Because THEY were stupid enough to do it!!! I couldn't resist!!! I've never dropped one in a driveway either. I've come close a couple of times though! FWIW, my gf isn't some wee little thing, she's 5'11 and has played sports all through school. Before she was injured she had planned to play for the WNBA. She is plenty tall and strong enough to hold up a baby ninja!

I'm not familiar with those ....thanks.

My wife took the MSF course and it helped bigtime !! I started teaching her how to actually ride on the street AFTER she took this course to get the basics. I then would ride her bike and she would follow in the car to an industrial park or somewhere like that for her to practice.

She's done well.

I said that a few years ago - then moving a friend's bike in the garage and my foot slipped on a leaf. After 15 years I had a static *crash*.
