Hmmm... I guess. I'll go along with the crowd on this one. I want to do the entire rally but I don't care if we hit the Gap or not to tell the truth. If we can get accommodations close to Deal's then that's cool with me. I just want the details to be hashed out and let's get 'er done! |

From earlier discussion I think the general consensus who wanted to ride the Gap was to ride it Monday. Less traffic, cops, etc.
I don't mind getting up early at TWO to go ride the Gap, find somewhere to stay Monday night and head home Tuesday. Like Tommy, some of us are several hours away from home. Finding a place to stay Monday night is something else to consider...

Gotcha. Thanks. The earlier guys are meeting at the Gap so talk to Trip about what they're doing.

Damn peer pressure
If the entire rally is heading to the gap, I guess I'll follow. Just know I'm going slow. I've no need to be a semi splat, or be taken out by some moron that can't turn. What's lodging for the group look like there?

I'm looking for places near the Gap now. I need to find out from everyone if they want to try to stay at DGMR or just get a few hotel rooms and split cost. DGMR won't take a reservation now according to their website. Those are to be made 60 days in advance. So trying to stay there may be iffy right now. I'm researching other places right now and will send PM's to those going to the Gap within a day or two. So far it looks like it's going to cost about the same per person.
