I cut the stock levers down on my SV and made my own shorties. I loved it. I can't justify the cost of those levers.
My cut down levers didn't have the ball on the end, so I'm kind of curious if the ball will bang into your ring finger on the clutch side. |

It doesn't bother me, doesn't seem much different than a cable pull to me really. I won't change them because I don't ride the way I did on the RR with the GS, I mostly stay in one gear without much gear changes when riding fast. Downshifting is interesting with the shaft drive. I try not to do it, locks up too easy if you do it too soon. Plus, I am not concerned about the clean look of it as much as I was with the RR. I got those bar shield things I can't remember the name of right now that hide the levers, so it's not so much of a concern.

I have stock levers, and see no need to change them.
Besides I am saving up for my 36" stretched swingarm and 330 kit.

I wanted the ASV levers....but went with the Pazzo's because they're a Canadian company and a bunch of us got a great deal on a group buy. I have not been disappointed.

CNR shorties - similar to CRG/Pazzo's except my adj lever is the same color as the lever.
LOVE them over stock! |

I evened out a broken lever and cut another... then had them both powdercoated for the Buell. Probably a mod I'd want to do with the TLR, but I want to wait to see what the cable pull feels like when I dump the hydro clutch. Pazzos and the like look real good, but I just don't see it as a justifiable mod when there's so much other shit that could be done...

On the way home from work, I took a look at my levers and they are black from the OEM. I never realized that, maybe thats why I don't mind them.
