should grind the rivet first, then use the breaker pin to push it through.
that's why you bent the pusher pin. I just got the motion pro chain breaker/riveter set last week. like $100 retail. it has everything in it, breaker, press and riviter. |

Yep, I bought that kit, geez almost 10 years ago. BTW I bought a cheap breaker because the breaker part of the kit left something to be desired. A $10 breaker works better and doesn't require any grinding.

Exactly- 2 minutes of easy work saves breaking a tool.
