70ish here. Rode even though I shouldn't be since my chain is bad.

The wife and I did about 100 miles on the Uly today. Highs in the 50s and some nice twisties to boot!

What other bikes do you have? How does the Uly compare? I'm seriously thinking about one right now.

I have an 05 Aprilia Tuono and an 02 SV650.

More power than the SV, less the then Ape. More fun to ride than either of them. This bike is the most practical street bike I've ever owned. I had no problem hanging in the twisties today with wife in tow and full of luggage. It's not as fast or nimble as the aprilia, but it's not supposed to be.

The soft suspension kinda bugged me out at first. Only because all I've ever ridden is sportbikes and am used to being firmly planted. Once I got use to the movement I actually enjoyed feeling the motorcycle move under me. Kinda cool.

Blue sky's and 68 degrees. Only did 35 miles, but they were very nice miles. I went up Lookout Mountain with my friend Dean, who was riding his wife's Ducati. He was a maniac, passing cars in the straights while I had to wait until the next straight to pass. So I had to be even more manic to catch up to him. Then he'd pass another car. Arggh.

I caught up to him near the top because he slowed down. There was a black SUV on the side of the road. I saw the SHERIFF insignia as I zoomed by. SOB. Luckily, he didn't come after us. But going back down, he wasn't in the same place and we didn't know where he was. So we were sorta careful going down.
