Exactly!

Stretch-tite

I get it at the big box (COSTCO, or BJs) and it has solved all my plastic wrap woes.

It sticks to what you want, doesn't stick to what you don't want it to, and it seals good.

The only thing it clings to is itself.

Useless!

I didn't realize this till recently but those boxes come with tabs on the side that you can push in to "lock" the roll in the box. That helps a lot in keeping it from jumping out mid pull. And as a female, I can say I hate the shit too. As soon as it rips it clings to it self and makes a big wad. All my tupperware has lids for this reason

You people have some serious issues.

It's fucking cling-wrap, not rocket surgery.

There are however, some things you need to know.

First off, cling wrap has a manufacturer recommended break in period. You can't just go zipping it of out the box when it's new, or it won't last as long. Also, you want to start with a small box. A lot of people try the big box first, just because it looks cool. This is a mistake. You could die.

Short version- whatever you're wrapping, handle it so that the plastic wrap is always under a little bit of tension, and that most of the wrap that's exposed is in contact with the item. The second you have any significant amount of plastic wrap loose it'll turn into a wad.
