I had AT&T for 6 years. Always had mediocre cell service and their customer service was ok, but not all that good.
Had Sprint/Nextel for 2 years. Worst coverage ever. Customer service was even worse. Had T-Mobile for 5 years. Almost as bad as sprint/nextel, but not quite. I currently have Verizon and it's been great. My service is the best out of the bunch and their customer service has always been good. Verizon - 1 AT&T - 2 T-Mobile - 3 Nextel/Sprint - 4

The only issue I have with Verizon is price... it's fucking expensive, but I get 20% off through my job which balances things a bit.

I think that Sprint is running a very good program as far as price is concerned with their $69 "everything" plan. I'm quite happy with US Cellular's $69 plan which includes 450 anytime, 5GB of data, unlimited text, mobile to mobile, free incoming calls, nights and weekends starting at 7pm, and included gps navigation.
