Yea you might be right... I thought that I'd give it a try. Right off the bat the network sucks here but hooked to wifi this phone rivals a net book for speed. I only have to keep it on a web plan for 4 months which equals $80 so it's not too bad.

So, you plan to have your mobile device without mobile capabilities?

I got mine last week. And so far with the voice capabilities, i rarely have to type anything. It does it for me. Like this entire message for instance....

Yea the voice seems to work okay...and Google Voice is the shit for sure... I've said it before, I don't know if I need to be on the net 24/7...but for what they charged me for the phone and the fact that it's only costing me about $20 more a month. If I don't like it after 4 months, I can drop the Android part of the plan and either just use the "mobile device" as a phone *gasp!* that can "only" access the web WiFi or go back to my Memoir.

Anyway, do you use Google Voice and how is that working out for you? It's very interesting technology but I'm not ready to give out that number just yet. I want to test it out some more first... My GF went in head first and set up individual greetings for EVERYONE on her contacts list!!!
