My cell phone has a 518 suffix.

So it could be a cell, but guessing if the spelling is that bad, a cell phone might be non-existent.

A radio station here has call ins where people read an article of something crazy and they guess if its from Florida or Germany (I think germany).

Romania takes the cake when it comes to fucked up stories. Boortz use to do a Romania story every day years ago. For example a man got tired of buying condoms so he superglued one to his dick. No clue what the thought process was there.

I think we all need to make a point to take pictures whenever we see these!! I've seen a couple over the years and thought REALLY??

My dad used to mail me my hometown newspaper when I was in college. I would take them to class and we would make fun of them.

It's called an exchange, and any given exchange can exist in just about any area code- if not, there'd be no need for area codes!

I wished I had a camera handy last weekend- I drove past a sign directing people to the "Fairgroungs" in Columbia, SC- and this was an official, DOT green enameled sign. Mis-spelled handscribble signs are the rule rather than the exception here.

Hate to break it to ya'll, but it's Texas. West Texas (my parents live out in Midland, my dad took/sent the pic to my Mom, and she sent it to me). I'll try to find out WHERE exactly, but I'd imagine it's out in their neck of the woods, so-to-speak.

(and the spelling is FAR too good to be here in Floriduh )
