Under armor's great stuff, but also $$$ to sweat in. I have a few UA pieces, and a lot of MEC gear. They'll even teach you how to layer effectively at MEC, and it's tonnes more affordable.

You mean you dont run around in Just Polka Dots??

I have some UA Cold Gear when I ride the Bike on a Colder night...Stuff works like a champ. I played football the night before thanksgiving and was sweating because I had on my UA Long Sleeve Shirt.

Treadmill!

My wife runs out side she hates the treadmill. The most important thing is the first layer needs to be moisture wicking cause you need to stay dry to stay warm. Second and most important do not leave the house warm, by that I mean if you leave the house dressed so warm that your not cold then 10 min in you will be hot and sweaty then the real cold will start.

Keep your wrists, ears and neck warm every thing else will be working and keep it self warm. My wife gets too hot with a hat on. Her largest problem is finding warm shoes she can run in. She bought some spring like cleats for her shoes that help get traction, the lady she runs with sliped the other day and has not been able to run for about 3 weeks.

Also Check out steep and cheap .com they have womans gear on sale all the time.

Target C9 stuff - similar to UA but way less $$ and works great! Warm, durable, fits well...and not very much money! (do they have Target in Canada? Can you order from online?)

My shoes are cold but I bought special socks that keep the tootsie's warm!

I used to use UA cold gear almost every day for winter track workouts and loved it. Me and a friend of mine also came up with a cheap way to keep your face warmer too. We used to cut the sleeves off of old t-shirts and wear them over our faces so that we werent breathing in 20* wind while trying to run for an hour and it helped considerably.

Ear muffs are a must in the cold. If not my ears hurt so bad it makes me nauseous!!
Mine are called 180S and they go around the back of my head, not over the top. They don't mess with my earphones either.

Also Kel I don't know how cold you say 'cold' but something to cover your mouth would probably be good too. Cold air makes my throat hurt!

Well....around 6am it'd be -15 ish (celsius). BRRRRRRR!
