How exactly could riding a motorcycle tear your tendons? Maybe running could have done it, but not riding a motorcycle.

I had surgery on my testicles that prevented my from riding. The only physical ailment that has. It was to correct a twisting problem and though it was done similar to a vasectomy it was worse than a vasectomy in that I had sutchers 'sp'? In each testicle. Great fun. I also sometimes get sinus and ear infections that mess with my balance so I abstain until i recover but thats rare.

I've had a few. I just managed to make it to my track day last year in between surgeries. Less than a week after having staples taken out of my abdomen made it a rough day.

Right now, my knee is still sore from the wreck- doesn't prevent me from riding though. The bike sitting in the garage waiting for an insurance adjustor does... The knee just made riding home miserable.

My burn stopped me from riding most of this summer. And the season is pretty much done.

Doc didn't say it was caused by the bike so much as exacerbated by the bike. Because these muscles are used a lot it could've been anything and I likely wouldn't remember the injury.

Although I do remember this one time....I had my leg over my head....and I felt a little tweak.

Damn, sorry to hear about the tendonitis! Is it painful all the time or only when you're sitting or standing or active?

I was diagnosed with a hernia in late January. The look on the doc's face when I asked him if surgery could wait until after track season was priceless.

I've since crashed on a mountain bike (and second Krabill's note above, them things is dangerous!) 4-5 weeks ago and my left wrist is still sore and a bit swollen. Told the wife I'd get it checked out after the track day this coming Monday and got about the same look I did from the doc earlier this year. They just don't understand!

Speaking of, glad to hear you're not letting an injury stop you from getting out there the first time!

Sorry 'bout that. That's what you get for saying you were very bendy.

I broke my shifting foot several years back...kept me off the bike for 3 weeks or so.

And last week my left hand hurt pretty bad. I had an inflamed tendon, so I stayed off the bike for a few days.

Hurts all the time. Deadening pain is the only way to describe it. Not enough to prevent me from doing stuff...but just odd feeling.

I'll give it a rest after this weekend.
