I've rarely had FedEx/UPS push back a delivery date - it usually only happens around holidays.

If you don't check it a few times a day you didn't want it bad enough anyway and should have saved your money.

I like checking because I want what I ordered (not that I order much) plus like someone else said I like to see how it travels around the country. A lot of equipment and hands have to touch a product to get it to your door.
