I guess you can't do much to avoid that.

That may be right, but doesn't every generation think the one following them is doomed? Remember how Beavis and Butthead was supposed to be the end of productive society as we know it for us Gen X'ers? Or South Park... another "new low" for impressionable minds that were supposed to be the future pillars of society.

I think the kids growing up today are products of the environment they were born into, and some of the "poor behavior" reflected on them is little more than self-fulfilling prophecies.

The only one that applies to me is the toll-pass.

I don't see that as an intrusion though.

Unless you are avoid toll roads altogether, you are being tracked. If not via your Sunpass, EZ-Pass, etc, then by a picture taken of your tag.

Toll passes must be an east of the Mississippi thing. It sure seemed like I couldn't go any type of distance in Pa without hitting one, but I am struggling to remember the last time I saw one here out west. (Oklahoma maybe)?

There aren't many toll roads in PA. The turnpike (I-76). I think thats it. Maybe some bullshit near Pittsburgh. Now, New Jersey. Fuck that shit. Toll charging assholes.

Here in the Bay Area, if you commute to the city every day, you are going to get a bridge pass............. otherwise you are sitting in the cash-only lane while all the passholders zoom by you.
