Blame whoever you want but we are all to blame.
That being said, both my Harley's have 50 state street legal mufflers on them. |

Nope I'm to blame as well. My chopper was one of the loudest bikes I ever even rode near on the road. 117" cam'ed motor with 2" open pipes facing straight out. They were insane stupid loud. I can't access my youtube vids from work but here's one of the vids of the chopper I have on my PB account. The youtube ones are posted here somewhere.
EDIT: Here's the thread with the other vids. http://www.twowheelfix.com/showthread.php?t=616 That being said I went the other way with my new bikes. Honestly, anybody here can attest, my Harley is not loud. Here's a video of Uma on her Harley. I don't have one of my Ultra. Last edited by Gas Man; 12-09-2010 at 11:47 PM.. |

My Buell's Jardine sounds like Armageddon. Which is annoying as hell 75 pct of the time. On track accellerating up and down in the hi rpm band...wood city.

Yea I got old too... I had a D&D pipes on all of my bikes until '01 GSXR1k (Yosh)...too loud. Then I went with the M4 Gp pipe on this bike, again loud. So I went to the long (quieter) Akropovic and I'm much happier. My neighbors probably are too. There is such a thing as too damn loud.
