It all depends on the material and purpose of the virtual meeting. Most suck - but webinars can be great tools to disseminate information when used properly and the presentation is aimed at not wasting people's time or looking pretty.

I'll say it again - most suck. Just spent two hours to listen to some HR people go over a bunch of stuff that we (as employees in corporate america) should know anyway, and to learn that my title changed. They could have just given us the new grade/title chart and saved us all 1:50 of our time......

We have a senator that said shortly after she was elected: She spends most of her time legislating “common sense” and that she felt it was a massive waste of time.


Things a person should know as just basic common sense eludes so many people that we end up with thousands of dumbass laws and HR policies.
