Dude, if I could afford a Mac I'd just buy Dreamweaver.

That's what I use as well, on all of my machines, but I don't believe that's free. We have a corporate license for it at work. Excellent utility for reading/modifying code, HTML, XML, etc.

Yes, that's why I said maybe Eclipse. It is a workbench used by many professional programmers, but has tons of helpful add-ins for a variety of languages, one being HTML.

You can get Eclipse here:
http://www.eclipse.org/

And the HTML plugin here:
http://amateras.sourceforge.jp/cgi-b...ipseHTMLEditor

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

In the event that this doesn't help you with your goal there are some free ones:

Pagebreeze
http://www.pagebreeze.com/

Snapfiles
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/dheeditor.html

A more graphical eclipse based product
http://www.myeclipseide.com/htmlpage...y-pid-310.html

The free version of Microsoft's Visual Studio which has visual web designer
http://www.microsoft.com/exPress/
