I was curious about that myself. I go to school at night but next summer I have to go full time for my rad-tech program. In which I believe after a few months I'll go to school full time and have an evening shift at a hospital (that I doubt i'll get paid for).

I'm sure my company would lay me off if I asked but my main concern is I've heard that having used unemployment before can make it more difficult to get a job since employers may look into that later on.

In michigan you are not allowed to go to school while drawin unemployment. That is time you aren't spending looking for a new job.

That being said... with the state of unemployement in michigan you can draw for 18 months now.
