I want to say that the power 2ct is the same center as the power with softer sides. The road 2ct is supposed to be hard in the middle with power sides (according to what michelin told some one on my other forum).

Ah... initially I had that but went back and edited because it sounded funny to me. I was always under the impression that the Powers were plenty sticky but didn't give the greatest mileage. I now see where I was mistaken. I was thinking of the roads cts I guess. Anyway, give Jason a call tomorrow and he can give you the scoop!

Yes. One of the most popular set ups on my bike seems to be a road 2 rear and a power front. This way its still sticky on the edges but gets good mileage. The power and power 2ct even look almost identical.

If you still just want the Pilot Power - AMT (American Motorcycle Tire) has them for $134.83. I guessed on the shipping to your placed based on your location and they would be around $147.42 shipped... cheaper than STG unless Jason gives you a discount.
http://www.americanmototire.com/cata...oducts_id=3687 If you want the 2ct, they are approximately $163.63 shipped. http://www.americanmototire.com/cata...oducts_id=3698 I just bought my tires from this place since they were by far the cheapest around... though I got Bridgestones. |

MAW used to be the cheapest for years, but in the last 2 years or so AMT has beat them. MAW would always match but not this year. They wanted $275 for a set of BT014's, too damn much. I got mine shipped for under $240.
