must have missed the whole keep your wits about you part. Do you normally run into curbs. wits would tell you not to do that. BTW I have on a bike and recieved no injuries.

Hey to each his own but I'm not parking my bike out of fear of an injury. If that was the case I wouldn't get out of bed most mornings for fear my dog would push me down the steps.

I had to write up one of my guys in the Navy because he went out and got sunburned so badly that he was bedridden for two days. He was unable to perform his duties due to his own negligence. It is treated the same as if he started the workday drunk, or too hungover to work.

thanx i am pumped for drill school to start and its not the bumps and bruses that i am worried about its the broken arm that after 6 years of applying and having to start all over.

And it is alot like the millitary in it policies and how they as an employer lookk at you the employee.

But worth it great job, great benifits and great retirement!

In my time in the Navy I thought this was just a sea story. I didn't know there were power hungry pricks who actually wrote folks up for this.

So it's a fit for duty? Same as being drunk.

Yep. Same deal. I was pissed at his stupidity, but wasn't going to write him up. The Chief made me. I sat on the paperwork for a while. When no higher-ups asked for it, I shredded it.

happened in the Army to. Basically suck it up and do your job or they will write you up. We had one guy written up for it but he was a 'tard to start with. Laid in bed crying about the blisters from sunburn.
at least make the effort to get in formation then go sham somewhere
