not for I. I shall remain true to the Inline 4's. I dislike the ducatis, got problems with aprilias, just dont want no Vtwin.

Ahh Rae welcome to my world I can quote you all the stats about how and inline 4 will will whip a twin..
The I rode a a used 749 at a dealership in 06 where I was having a Goldwing serviced (salesmen saw me looking at it and asked me 3 times if I wanted to ride it, you ask me 3 times to ride a honda 50 I am riding) 2 hours later after teaaring up Manchester NH and the surrounding area I was hooked. Two weeks later I bought a left over 05 999. The clatter of the clutch, the nasty snarl when you lean into her with torque pulling all the way through.. The Chassis that lets an old dubber with limited skills like me drag a knee when I want to. At the end of our recent New Englad Busa Ride I let one of my fellow busa pilots take the 999 out, he described it as 2 wheeled crack. All of that said it is very like an attractive itlaian woman I once dated.. gorgeous.. performs like nothing else but is high maintince.. Like to many people I no longer want a Duc I want one of each Duc's |

The 999 is by far the most comfortable Duc I've ever seen. There's one on my desktop right now- and the pic doesn't do it justice.
