I would but a NICE Digital Printer is some decent Coin...then you need the Photo paper...
I dont print them that often to justify spending that much money on the equipment to do it myself.

Yes, photo paper is somewhat expensive if you're printing on good quality stuff, at larger than 4"X6". For CAN$285.00 + tax I picked up an Epson Stylus Photo 1400, which prints at up to 13"X19", using 6 separate print cartridges. I can print about 25 maximum size and quality prints on a set of cartridges and probably hundreds of 4"X6" prints. I replaced all 6 cartridges for a little over $100.00.
It all depends what you want to do. I can get a couple of hundred 4"X6" prints off set of cartridges with my little HP Photosmart 1750, plus it will print at up to 8.5"X11". If all that you want is 4"X6" prints (max 8.5"X11"), then a Canon Pixma IP2600 can be had for under $60.00 and prints very well. Good quality 4"X6" paper is dirt cheap, by the 50 pack. I do my own prints, because I want a greater degree of creative control. Given that I would be paying about $18.00 per print at 13"X19" it only made sense to buy the 1400. |

No, I don't go to Walmart... but thanks. I'm more afraid of their parking lot than I am of the store inside. And, even there - I can't check out because of the fun in lines. But, I'll entertain the idea if we can play:

I used to print my own but it's too much of a PIA.
Now I just head to the local walgreens.
